Hometown: I grew up in the land of "gooey butter cake" and toasted ravioli- aka St. Charles, Missouri where I first caught the theatre bug while acting and dancing in shows throughout the area.
School: I graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I received a BA in Acting) and Dance (with concentrations in both Performance and Dance Education). During my senior year, Muhlenberg was ranked as having the #1 Theatre Program in the country by the Princeton Review.
Currently: I am working on pre-pro for my new webseries. I have also been working on audition material, hosting zoom play readings, and taking classes to stay busy during quarantine.
Why: Because I believe in the power of storytelling. Storytelling fosters community and a sense of empathy as we see ourselves and our neighbors in the media we consume. I strive to create art and space for opportunity that encourages people to feel seen, heard, and hopefully a little less alone.
A few things that make me, ME: 1) I can frequently be found dancing-like-no-one-is-watching, which often means getting caught grooving in elevators. 2) I love baking and hope to one day publish my own cookbook (follow @sweet.geek on insta for more). 3) I started my own
Self Tape Audition studio where I help actors create an audition that they can feel proud of. 4) I am on a life long hunt for the best fried chicken.
